This is NW Meadowlake Rd, turning into NW Nestucca Access Rd, turning into Netuscca River Rd, turning into NF 85/OR 858 from Carlton, OR to US 101. It looks amazing to drive and looks 100% paved. Anyone driven it recently? Is it in good condition? If so I will be driving it in a few months when the weather is better on a Saturday so I can go to C&C Portland. I'm excited! In other news, I get my baby back by the end of the week! Yay me!

EDIT: Any recommendations of good driving roads out of Tacoma, WA?

If you drive to Yakima, and then take Hwy 97 south, you'll have some fun!
if that's too far, well I can't help out...
Hi from Redmond, WA :)

If you do this drive let me know, my FR-S and I would love to come out and play. I'm in Portland and go the C&C just about every weekend

Works for me! I can probably work it into a "work related research trip" since I'm in the Wine biz.

I will! Thats a zoomed-in snap from the loop I made, which runs south from Tacoma on I-5 to get to CC Portland in the morning and then out to the coast through Carleton so I can do some wine tasting and then back up the 101. Hellooooooooo summer. But yah, we should have a NW Oppo meet at CC Portland (or somewhere that everyone can get to) when the weather is better.

There definitely needs to be a NW Oppo meetup/drive this summer! There seem to be quite a few people on here from the area. I have not done that route personally, but often go on drives thought the twisties west of Portland out to the coast. The roads are paved for the most part and the only real concern is some occasional patchy or rough road sections.

Awesome! I should put a post seeing who up here has interest and where most of the folks are located so we can find an equidistant middle ground for us to meet. Hopefully it will be near some type of car event or museum or something. We could always meet a the Le May museum, but I may be biased as it is 10 min from my house... Anyway, I would love to do an Oppo drive to the coast on some fun twisties.

And I am slightly biased toward the Portland C&C because it is 10 minutes from my house :)

But I've definitely been looking for a good excuse to visit Le May museum for quite a while, I'd be down for anything as long as the drive can be accomplished in roughly a day.

Awesome. Yah I'm down for a good meet up. And anytime you want to visit Le may let me know! I'm always looking for an excuse to go haha. They have a great series where someone associated with the museum will talk about a car or a marque every first Tuesday of the month from 11:30 to 12:30.

Well, making a Tuesday may not be possible due to work (and being about 3 hours away). But, I'll definitely let you know once it gets closer to summer.
